Pipl is the identity trust company. Our solutions allow organizations to provide frictionless customer experiences and approve more transactions with greater confidence and speed. We use multivariate linking to establish deep connections among more than 330 billion trust signals—email, mobile phone and social media data that spans the globe—and then look at the big picture to derive identity trust.

We’re looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial Product Leader to own the Verified Profile product from end to end, from attracting and onboarding users to optimizing product performance and driving adoption at scale. This is not a “steady state” corporate role, we need someone with the mindset, resilience, and drive to take a product from zero to hero in a startup-like environment.

You’ll lead product strategy, execution, and optimization for a fast-growing identity and trust product that helps platforms verify real users with minimal friction. This role demands both strategic vision and operational execution, and the ability to thrive with minimal support from other teams.

Responsibilities

  • Full Product Ownership: Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, growth, and continuous optimization.
  • User Acquisition & Growth: Drive strategies to bring users onto the platform through creative, cost-effective, and data-driven methods.
  • Product Marketing Leadership: Take ownership of product marketing strategy with minimal reliance on the marketing team, including positioning, messaging, go-to-market execution, and growth experiments.
  • User Flow & Trust: Design and continuously refine user flows to maximize trust, reduce friction, and deliver a seamless verification experience.
  • Innovation in Delivery: Find and test unique, scalable ways to improve verification rates, reduce costs, and increase user adoption.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, design, and business development to ensure product and go-to-market alignment.
  • Metrics-Driven Decisions: Own and track KPIs such as verified identities, monthly active identities, cost per verification, and conversion rates, adjusting strategy to hit aggressive growth targets.

Requirements

  • Proven Track Record: Experience taking products from concept to scale (“zero to hero”), ideally in a startup or fast-growth environment.
  • Startup DNA: Resourceful, scrappy, and creative, able to achieve results without large budgets or mature processes.
  • Full-Stack Product Skillset: Comfortable moving between strategic planning, user experience design, technical discussions, and go-to-market execution.
  • Data-Informed Decision Maker: Skilled in using analytics and market insights to guide product decisions.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep empathy for users and a commitment to building trust and reducing friction in the verification process.
  • Execution Excellence: Hands-on leadership style, willing to roll up sleeves and personally drive initiatives forward.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in identity verification, trust & safety, fintech, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with B2B2C or platform ecosystems.
  • Background in both product management and growth marketing.
